Stephanie Escobedo

Stephanie Escobedo

Owner / Founder/ Instructor

Stephanie Escobedo is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a BFA in teaching dance. Stephanie performed as a professional modern dancer until she founded TTB Dance & Fitness in 2016.  She has been teaching fitness classes in Chicago since 2009. Stephanie specializes in teaching women group fitness; blending her knowledge for dance and alignment, she has created a fitness program that helps dancers and non dancers gain new levels of strength and connection with their bodies.

Stephanie’s fitness beliefs consist of working with your body, not against it. Stephanie focuses on using your own body weight to strengthen, lengthen and tone the body. In her classes, form is most important and maintaining proper alignment and preventing injury is her top priority. Stephanie wants her students to learn something new every time they come to class.

Lauren Everett

Lauren Everett

Instructor

Lauren has been singing, dancing, and acting her whole life! Theatre was/is such a passion of hers, she decided to pursue it professionally. She graduated in 2018 from Wright State University’s BFA Musical Theatre program. Dance was never her strongest out of the three, and had to work really hard to compete professionally with her peers. But since starting classes at TTB, she has reclaimed her love of dance and feels so much joy doing it! Lauren also became certified in Yoga Instruction with her RYT 200 hour study after she graduated from school, and taught for about three years publicly before COVID-19. She wants everyone that walks into her class to feel welcomed and safe, no matter what level, and leave more at peace than when they arrived!
